'Ploegsteert' appeared on the eponymous album from 2012 and was Het Zesde Metaal’s breakthrough single. The song is an homage to the late Frank Vandenbroucke, cyclist and tragic hero – and has become a true classic. 'Ploegsteert' shook up Radio 1’s 2016 “100 op 1” chart to everyone’s surprise. The listeners of Belgian national radio station Radio 1 awarded it their all-time favourite Belgian song, before Jacques Brel’s evergreen ‘Ne Me Quitte Pas’ and ‘Mia’ by Gorki.
The previously unreleased ‘Min Tempel’ on the flipside is a haunting cover of Bonny Prince Billy’s ‘A King At Night’.
